Gran Estacion , mall with the most high social responsibility.

In the North West of Bogota, capital of Colombia, operates one of the malls more large,and modern of the country... There we can find from a stock of popular items and at low prices, to the houses that offer the most major brands in the world. All this would happen as if it were a shopping mall more , but  not because it has the most high sense of social responsibility in the country.

We are talking about, that 90% of employees are people with some degree of disability...but What would be the reason for which the owners of this mall decided to give the job opportunity to the disabled population?

The owner of great station, the mall of which we are now speaking, for many years came thinking that investing his fortune, a fortune that his family had worked and that  inherited at an early age . The time pass and Mr. Carlos Gomez got married and had a beautiful family but one of his children  has a disability to walk .

At the pass the time, Mr Carlos saw that this city, or any other country were friendly with the disabled population and born Gran Estation  the located place where disabled people can work and occupy a place in society.

For visitors to the shopping centres of large cities it is not common to find people by their hallways in wheelchairs, some without arms, without legs or simply with a syndrome that does not prevent them

developing in society. The task is to guide visitors and ensure the safety of the mall.

It should not be forgotten that disability does not mean inability and everyone that we are missing some vital organs, can be useful in the world.

It is also possible to find entire families during the weekends, Mothers with children of all ages and the elderly enjoying games and entertainment that the mall has, not all  is shopping ,  also we can enjoy in family. Another alternative are the restaurants with a variety of fast foods and gourmet dishes that can access all social strata. And finally, this site has movie theaters where are movies at prices comfortable for visitors

Concluding  we can highlight 4 objectives for which it was created this mall

*It is the only place in Colombia where the disabled population feels important and have a place to survive  and take the bread of every day

*It is a place where low-income families can also enjoy popular stores where you can find articles of good quality and at affordable prices.

*It is a place where converge all social classes without distinction of stratum and where you also will find the best and most varied food restaurant at affordable prices for everyone
